Dean actually comprises 2 villages - Upper Dean and Lower Dean (previously Nether Dean). I have heard a rumour that there was once a Middle Dean, but I have found no reference to it (can anyone help?). The two villages are nearly a mile apart, with only a single house (Middle Dean??) between.
Do you have any old photos (in whatever condition) of Dean people or places? (I need only borrow them for a few hours to scan them).

Do you live in Dean and know anything of the history of your house?
